Daikin AC Introduces The Navigation Remote Controller.
Daikin AC (Americas), Inc. has introduced the new Navigation Remote Controller (model no. BRC1E71) for use with Daikin’s light commercial, commercial and residential VRV® products, as well as certain SkyAir models.

“The features of Daikin’s Navigation Remote Controller were developed directly from feedback from our customers,” said Christina Trondsen, director of marketing of Daikin AC. “Now our customers can more easily access the exceptional energy saving zoning capabilities of Daikin’s products.”.

The Navigation Remote Controller is the latest addition to Daikin’s controls suite which offers scalable control architecture optimized for VRV technology. Devices are “daisy chained” to reduce installation time and costs. On large projects, long distances - up to 6560 feet can be supported and the DIII-Net bus supports 10 systems and 128 indoor units (64 groups for Intelligent Touch Controller). iPhone and iPod touch Smart Thermostat Application Released by ecobee.

ecobee worked with mobile application developers Five Mobile to design and build the application for the iPhone and iPod touch, a firm that specializes in content development for smart phone platforms. “ecobee chose Five Mobile based on their experience and expertise in the mobile space,” said Lombard.
