29th Annual ABCO Expo A Big Success

ABCO Refrigeration Supply Corp., a wholesale distributor of refrigeration, air-conditioning, and heating products in the Northeast, hosted its 29th annual trade show on November 4, 2009. Contractors, manufacturers and industry-associated people attended the ABCO Expo at the Terrace on the Park, in Flushing Meadows, Queens. The ABCO Expo, which is the largest independent HVAC/R trade show in the country, featured nearly 200 manufacturers who showcased new and innovative HVAC/R products and technologies, and offered training seminars on a number of topics. 

Expo attendees came from throughout the Northeast to attend the Expo; they traveled from as far as Massachusetts and Delaware to attend the Expo. “The ABCO Expo captures the true spirit and benefits of ABCO Refrigeration Supply – convenience, customer-education, dedication and friendship. Attendees come to Terrace on the Park not only to learn about cutting-edge advances and products, but also to meet with other attendees and the ABCO team,” said Jon Gottlieb, ABCO’s President. Participants had the opportunity to learn from leading HVAC/R manufacturers and experts about advances in the HVAC/R industry at “Quick Tech” classes. 

These 45-minute training sessions are an extension of the ABCO University training program, which instructs contractors on the newest technologies, products, and trends in the HVAC/R industry. The Expo also featured a raffle with all the proceeds benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, which will be used to grant a wish for a child with a life-threatening medical condition.
