ABCO HVACR Celebrates Grand Opening in Baltimore Market.
ABCO HVACR Supply +
Solutions recently celebrated the grand Opening of their new
facility in Jessup, MD near Baltimore. The Grand Opening
celebration featured hundreds of free product giveaways, terrific
grand opening discounts and great home cooked barbecue.
ABCO has been
spreading the word to area contractors that it’s “time to
declare your independence from business as usual.” “Today you
need more solutions than ever for your business to thrive. With
ABCO, the freedom to choose has never been greater,” says Jay
Roeder, Branch Manager.
ABCO’s new
state-of-the art facility opened on March 17th, and Paul Rebelo
hopes it will do for Jessup, Maryland what it’s done in its
other business locations on the east coast. “Our prime directive
is helping contractors succeed,” explains Rebelo, Executive Vice
President of ABCO HVACR Supply + Solutions. “Success tends to
have a halo effect. When contractors are more profitable, everyone
in the area benefits”.
ABCO’s move into
The Baltimore/Washington D.C. market reflects the potential for
growth that the independent, family-owned company anticipates. The
region accounts for over $500 million per year in heating,
ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration business. Given
the area’s stock of older housing and buildings, the region is
primed for growth as new generations of high-efficiency systems
replace aging, inefficient systems. “Advances in technology are
opening up new areas of profitability for local contractors. Our
job is to help them take advantage of those opportunities.”

2,400 square feet
dedicated to success - The need for advanced technical knowledge
to remain competitive in today’s HVAC/R industry—and the
desire to grow the industry itself—is one of the reasons ABCO’s
new 24,000 square foot facility includes a gleaming new ABCO
University Continuing Education Center for contractors,
architects, and engineers, “We’re not just about selling parts
and equipment,” says Rebelo. “We’re here to help expand
knowledge. Keeping customers ahead of the curve in terms of
design, engineering, and installation solutions adds to the
profitability of their businesses. That can create jobs in the
community, and can sow the seeds of productivity and growth.”
Rebelo cites
industry statistics to buttress his point. “Research shows that
it costs the HVAC/R industry $18,500 per employee per year in time
waiting for delivery and replacement parts. Simple delivery and
inventory efficiencies can cut that time significantly. We look
for those efficiencies at every turn.” Its why, he explains,
ABCO’s new Jessup facility is sited where it is. “Quick access
to Route 1, 95, 295, 175 and 32 makes for easier customer pick up
and expanded delivery options. We even have a traffic light near
the entrance making it faster and easier to turn.” It’s also
why ABCO will carry over $1.5 million in stocked inventory. “We
can also tap into ABCO’s expanded inventory, the largest in the
Northeast.”
