 Is there anyone more beloved at ABCO
than Norman Cooperman? Recently promoted to Senior Vice President,
to say it couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy, or a more deserving
guy, is an understatement.

Norman’s
contributions in both work and spirit have been immense since he
started here in 1997. A Master of Refrigeration, Norman knew at
an early age he was destined for HVAC/R. At age 11, he taught
himself how to fix the refrigeration ice cream cabinets that
housed the many flavors of his father’s wholesale ice cream
distributorship. As a teenager, he built hot rods and raced cars
for money. After graduating from Engineering School, he went
into fieldwork and started his own company, which mushroomed
into a bigger company that he operated for 35 years. When Norman
sold it, he came to ABCO and the rest is history.
